Adam and Jessica Davis from Ohio had big hearts. They already had four children of their own, but they felt their home had room for one more. Instead of having another biological child, they decided to rescue an orphan who needed love.
They turned to an agency called “European Adoption Consultants.” Their goal was noble – to give a child from a third-world country a chance at a happy future in America.

Soon, they were shown a photo of a little girl from Uganda named Namata. The agency told them a tragic story: her father had died, and her mother was abusive and wanted nothing to do with her. “If you don’t take her, she has no future,” they were told.
The Davises didn’t hesitate. They paid a huge sum (around $15,000) and flew to Uganda to pick up their new daughter.
