Columbus. What was supposed to be a quiet family evening for the Millers in the upscale suburb ended with a swarm of police cruisers and ambulances.
At 7:42 PM, a 911 dispatcher received a frantic call from Sarah Miller (34). In the recording, later released by police, children’s screams and the sound of shattering glass can be heard.
“He’s inside! Oh my god, he’s eating the ornaments! Send someone now!” she screamed before the line went dead.
When the first patrol arrived 6 minutes later, they walked into a scene the police chief later described as a “surreal nightmare.”
