She pulled the heavy steel box out. It wasn’t locked.
She flipped the lid open and gasped.
It was filled with passports. She picked one up. It had Greg’s photo, but the name was “Arthur Vance.” She picked up another. “Thomas Reed.” “Simon Black.” There were six passports, all from different countries, all with Greg’s face.

Under the passports were stacks of cash. Thick bundles of $100 bills, wrapped in rubber bands. It had to be at least $500,000.
And at the very bottom of the box was a newspaper clipping from 1998. The headline read: “The Phantom Robber Strikes Again: $2 Million Stolen, Suspect Vanishes.”
The sketch of the suspect looked exactly like a younger Greg.
