The little girl navigated through the hallways, turning the map this way and that. She felt like a real explorer. The trail led her past the living room, up the stairs, and down the corridor.
Finally, she stopped. The map led to a specific door.
“It’s in my room!” she shouted.
She burst into her bedroom, looking around wildly. She expected to see a box sitting on her bed or under her desk. But there was nothing. The room looked exactly the same as it always did.

She looked at the map again. The “X” was clearly marked on one side of the room. She walked over to the wall and stared at it.
It was just a plain, painted wall.
“Is it behind the wall?” she asked, confused.
Her dad walked up and knocked on the drywall. Thump. Thump. It sounded hollow.
