Eritrea, often referred to as Africa’s North Korea, is one of the most isolated countries. While it may have some beautiful spots, the bureaucratic process to get there is incredibly difficult, and the risk of cultural misunderstandings is high. To make matters worse, Eritrea was one of the few countries that did not condemn Russia’s war in Ukraine, likely due to their political alliance with dictatorships.
